Problems with the existing digital tools

Existing digital platforms for students are complicated, disjointed, and difficult to use. Our team explored how we might transform digital platforms, streamline the registration processes, and enhance transparency in vital areas such as financial aid and billing across the entire university.

How can the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) provide a personalized 360-student view that is accessible and simplifies the access and tools they need?

Some of the research questions we asked students:

  1. What resources are most important to you?

  2. Put in order the features you use the most and add anything missing

  3. Can you walk me through your experience of submitting a case?

  4. What keeps you up at night?

  5. Solve your biggest pain point with class registration through the feature of your favorite app

  6. Can you create a storyboard or your ideal registration process?

Key Insight

There is not enough proper personalized and direct support to guide students to the correct support channels. There are continuously missed opportunities from all stakeholders due to these gaps by historically attempting to solve all issues through a uniform solution.
